NAPERVILLE, Illinois 5 March 2018 – Coriant, a global supplier of open, disruptive, and hyperscale networking solutions for service providers and web-scale Internet operators, today announced the appointment of Sandra Krief to Managing Director for North America. In this position, she will be responsible for sales operations, business development, channel strategy, and customer support throughout the U.S. and Canada. Based in New York City, Krief will report directly to the company’s Chief Customer Officer and EVP of Global Sales and Digital Marketing, Homayoun Razavi.
“With an outstanding track record of success in our industry, we’re very excited to welcome Sandra to the Coriant leadership team. As an accomplished sales executive, she will play a critical role in growing our strategic accounts, helping to drive new opportunities for our industry-leading portfolio of open and software-driven solutions, while building traction for our newly introduced multi-sided platform partner program,” said Razavi. “Sandra has demonstrated success in building high-performing and multi-functional sales, engineering and management teams, and coupled with her client successes she will enable us to further enhance the value we can bring to our North America customers.”

Her success resulted in one of the company’s largest SaaS revenues – and in 2016, she earned the company’s CEO Spotlight Award for her outstanding sales performance.
“North America represents one of Coriant’s largest regions in terms of growth opportunity as service providers, web-scale operators, enterprises, and cable/MSOs brace for the impact of 5G, IoT, edge compute, and other service-enabling technologies,” noted Krief. “With a proven solutions portfolio and disruptive innovations from its multi-sided platform ecosystem partners, Coriant is uniquely positioned to help customers realize the true revenue potential of new end-user services.”
