Position Title: Marketing Associate

Reports to: Vice President, Strategic Development

Dotted Line Reports to: Strategic Account Manager

Position Summary:

iMiller The Marketing Associate supports the Strategic Account Manager on specific customers accounts. This individual provides support in all areas of the account including the development of marketing campaigns, various research functions, reporting, call notes and status report updates, customer and industry events, and all other day-to-day support functions related to the account as delegated by the Strategic Account Manager.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Execute work, focusing on client deliverables
  • Maintain / adhere to strict timelines and due dates on all requests as determined by the Strategic Account Manager
  • Follow-up on all items pending on account, updating and reminding Strategic Account Manager daily on status of deliverables
  • Take notes from all weekly or bi-weekly calls and distribute to all appropriate individuals
  • Perform research (event, speakers, awards, etc.) as required by Strategic Account Manager
  • Develop strong working relationships with other iMPR team members
  • Communicate daily to the iMPR team regarding progress on tasks and status of deliverables as needed
  • Respond to all inquiries and communications in a timely manner
  • Ensure all items produced are in line with customers’ correct style, messaging and branding
  • Validate statements / sources across all client deliverables
  • Edit / fact-check documents, even when already reviewed by the Content team and Strategic Account Manager
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and manager
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all clients and employees
  • Serve as the primary account support lead and backup for the Strategic Account Manager during his or her time off
  • Adhere to the Core Values and Mission Statement of the Company

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, including reading and writing
  • Meticulous approach to work with an eye for detail
  • Ability to maintain high-quality work and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to build rapport and confidence amongst the internal iMPR as well as clients
  • Strong communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • A degree or diploma from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Public Relations or Marketing experience preferred
  • Previous customer service / support experience preferred
