Frankfurt/Barcelona/Lisbon – 11 September 2019. DE-CIX, the world’s leading Internet Exchange (IX) operator, is today announcing a reseller agreement with AFR-IX telecom, a Barcelona-based “one-stop shop” for African IT needs. AFR-IX telecom is the first reseller for DE-CIX Lisbon, a new site recently launched in early 2019. DE-CIX Lisbon is located at the carrier-neutral data center of Equinix in Lisbon, with close to 20 networks connected. It is also interconnected to DE-CIX Madrid, the fastest growing Internet Exchange by customer growth globally – with nearly 150 active networks connected.
