PacketFabric to Speak at NFV & Carrier SDN: Automation & Monetization Event

On Tuesday, September 25, at 11:30 a.m. MDT, Mr. Milam will join executives from Heavy Reading, Windstream, CenturyLink, Pluribus Networks and Verizon on the keynote panel, “Automation & Applications for Advanced Operations.”  During this session, panelists will discuss why automation is attractive from an operational perspective, what key applications operators are looking to automate, how they will integrate automation into their SDN and NFV networks to achieve seamless, end-to-end service delivery, and what barriers remain when it comes to committing to network automation.

On Wednesday, September 26, at 2:35 p.m. MDT, Mr. Calkins will join executives from Heavy Reading, Happiest Minds, F5 and Huawei Technologies USA, Inc. on the breakout panel, “Automation & The Distributed Edge.” This session will document the progress made to date in implementing multi-access edge compute, examining the leading use cases and drivers, as well as analyzing the enterprise and 5G security-related challenges that must be addressed before mass commercialization and monetization of the edge-driven cloud can be realized.
