Aqua Comms to Speak at Subsea Connect Americas

November 29, 2017 — Aqua Comms DAC (“Aqua Comms”), the operator of Ireland’s first dedicated subsea fibre-optic network interconnecting New York, Dublin and London, announces today that its Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Bayliff, will participate on the panel, “Data at the Water’s Edge – Is This the End of the Traditional Cable Landing Station?” taking place during the Subsea Connect Americas conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Leveraging more than 25 years of experience in senior executive, operational and technical roles throughout the telecommunications industry, including his time as CEO and Board Member of Huawei Marine Networks, Mr. Bayliff will join community thought-leaders in a discussion regarding the future of terrestrial and undersea cable convergence, exploring the ways in which legacy cable providers are dealing with and adjusting to emerging trends.
