Ray La Chance to Discuss Fiber Trends, Challenges and Solutions to Meet Wireless Demand on Wednesday, April 6

ZenFi LogoNew York, NY – April 5, 2016ZenFi, New York’s carrier-neutral fronthaul fiber provider, announces today that its President and Chief Executive Officer, Ray La Chance, will participate in the panel session “Fiber to the X – Trends, Challenges and Solutions to Meet the Wireless Demand” during the Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association’s (NEDAS) Fourth Annual Spring In-Building Wireless Summit at the New York Academy of Medicine, taking place April 5-6 in New York City.

On Wednesday, April 6 at 11:00 AM, panelists from CommScope, INOC, KMB Consulting and SOLiD will join Mr. La Chance to discuss the current challenges and trends driving the wireless industry, including the impact of small cells on backhaul technology, the significance of Cloud-RAN (C-RAN) in the network, and the new network architecture needed to support growing mobile demand.  Mr. La Chance will also offer attendees insight into ZenFi strategies for the re-architecture of fiber networks to support Distributed Antenna System (DAS), small cell and macro sites throughout the New York metro area.

“Existing network infrastructure simply wasn’t built to support the carrier networks of today, much less the future,” comments Mr. La Chance. “Re-architecture is critical to the growth of the industry.  ZenFi has been instrumental in driving this necessary evolution through our innovative All-Access and Express Network models.  I’m looking forward to sharing my insight regarding this transformation and how it impacts the wireless industry,” he adds.

The ZenFi Network is custom-built to support densification and increase the accessibility and affordability of bandwidth at the edge.  Offering a metro Access Network with a core carrier Express Network, ZenFi delivers a highly flexible, customizable and scalable fiber solution that enhances the wireless carrier network and enables the Internet of Things (IoT).

The Fourth Annual Spring In-Building Wireless Summit brings together leading industry executives, vendors, service providers and end-users to facilitate education and collaboration concerning the deployment of cutting-edge DAS, Wi-Fi, and small cell technology solutions.
