Lisbon, Portugal – May 18, 2023 – Start Campus, an innovator in the site selection, design, and building 100% green energy ecosystems, announces today that two of its executives are joining panels at DCD Connect Madrid at the Eurostars Madrid Tower. The event fosters executive level discussions on the challenges and future of the data center space. DCD Connect>Madrid is set to take place May 23-24, 2023 in Madrid, and connects more than 800 data center design and build supply chain executives from Spain and Southern Europe.
Start Campus will be featured on two key panels at the upcoming DCD>Connect Madrid event. In the first panel featuring Start Campus, Chief Executive Officer, Afonso Salema, will participate in a live debate titled The future of the Iberian Peninsula as a digital hub of southern Europe. The debate takes place May 23, 2023 from 15:45-16:30 at the main talks stage
The second panel will feature Start Campus’ Head of Sustainability, Marketing and Communication, Fabiola Bordino. On May 23, 2023 from 17:15-18:00, Fabiola will be featured on a debate panel titled, Sustainability and Data Centers: Are Metrics and Numbers Enough. About Start Campus
Start Campus is responsible for the development of the SINES project, a Hyperscale Data Centre campus with a capacity of 495MW in Sines, in an investment of up to 3.5 billion euros. It will be one of the largest data center campuses in Europe and meets the growing demand from large international technology companies.
