It is a fully automated software-defined networking (SDN) solution that provides a flexible and scalable service platform that is agile and has the ability to lower the total cost of network operations for its customers.
“The award is testament to our commitment to providing customers with a solution which supports both business and technology innovation,” said Jim Fagan, President of Managed Services, Pacnet. “It also recognises the exceptionally talented team that we have built across the Asia-Pacific region to support high-performance and cloud-ready networks with an industry leading solution which in turn supports our goal to consistently exceed market expectations around customer satisfaction.”
PEN brings cloud provisioning to the network, enabling customers to self-provision and configure their network resources instantly, controlling performance and quality of service requirements under a flexible pricing model and industry-leading SLAs.
Customers of PEN, include companies spanning the IT, logistics, manufacturing and financial services sectors in countries such as Australia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and the U.S. With PEN, customers can provision network services between two locations in minutes without going through the traditional, long lead, manual provisioning process.
