‘The Era of Convergence’ Call for Speakers Now Open
MAMARONECK, N.Y. – July 25, 2013 –Northeast DAS & Small Cell Forum (NEDAS), an association of Northeast DAS, small cell professionals and end-users to foster learning, networking, socializing, collaboration and the sharing of ideas in a mutually supportive environment, announces the dates for its Fall Conference to be held October 2, 2013 in the Washington D.C. market at the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University located at 800 Florida Avenue N.E. Washington DC. The theme of the conference is ‘The Era of Convergence’ and will address topics associated with the demand of data from anywhere by today’s mobile users.
According to Researchmoz, DAS, small cells and WiFi deployments are expected to carry more than 60% of all mobile network data traffic by 2020. As today’s mobile users demand access to more content and the ability to share content from nearly anywhere, infrastructure must be fortified to support and enable end-users from wherever they are. Whether they are in a store, at a sporting event, sitting in a park, traveling, visiting a relative in the hospital, at work or at home, end users’ insatiable appetite for mobile content is shaping the way we need to look at our current and future technology infrastructure.
“The Northeast DAS + Small Cell Forum’s Fall conference will provide real-world insights and solutions to implementing hybrid wireless systems, sometimes referred to as heterogeneous networks, to meet today’s in-building and intra-community converging communication needs,” comments Ilissa Miller, President of the Northeast DAS + Small Cell Forum. “In the search for speakers, we are emphasizing submissions based on case studies, facts and figures, analytical insight and tried and true data points on a number of topics.”
