Herndon, VA – March 23, 2015 – EdgeConneX®, specializing in hosting solutions at the edge of the network, announced today that it will go live at the end of Q1 2015 with three new Florida-based Edge Data Centers®. These new facilities will be located in Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Miami.

In addition, smartphone usage in America alone rose from 30 percent usage among the population in 2010 to a staggering 75 percent usage by the end of 2014.
Heavy user demand for Over-The-Top (OTT) content in under-served cities is creating new opportunities for Internet infrastructure providers.
