Phill Lawson-Shanks to Participate on Two Panels Exploring the Impact of Edge Data Centers

This annual event will take place June 8-9, 2016 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
On Tuesday, June 8 at 11:55 in the Datacloud Theatre, Mr. Lawson-Shanks will join executives from Midfin Systems, Etix Everywhere and KBC on the panel session, “Data Centers Fit for Purpose: Edge Data Centers – Growth, Impact, Prospects.” During this panel, Lawson-Shanks and his industry colleagues will explore how data centers that are purpose-built and strategically located nearest to end-users’ points of access reduce network latency and optimize performance to enable businesses to deliver digital content, cloud and applications to end-users as efficiently as possible.
Following this presentation, at 15:35 in the Central Theater, Mr. Lawson-Shanks, alongside executives from Schneider Electric, Interxion France, Green Mountain Data Centre and BroadGroup, will appear on the panel “Data Center in the Cloud at the Edge.” Among other topics, panelists will examine how the ideal solution for enterprises moving to the edge is a hybrid environment whereby they can have proximity between their data center environment and that of the cloud.
