Recognized as an Agent of Change, The Datacloud Global Award Winners Will be Announced on the 26th of April in Monaco
Dunedin, FL – March 14, 2023 – Carrie Goetz, CTO of StrategITcom and Amazon best selling author of Jumpstart Your Career in Data Centers Featuring Careers for Women, Trades, and Vets in Tech and Data Centers, is shortlisted for the “Agent of Change” category in the 2023 Datacloud Global Awards. The winners will be revealed throughout the course of the evening on 26 April 2023, in Monaco during the award ceremony taking place at the Datacloud Global Congress event.
The annual awards ceremony, organized by Broadgroup, highlights outstanding achievements and is selected by a panel of independent, world-class industry leaders throughout the data center, cloud, edge and AI sectors. Carrie is being considered for the “Agent of Change” award, which recognizes an individual who actively champions the message of diversity, equity and inclusion both in and out of the workplace. Also being considered alongside Carrie are EdgeConneX, a pioneer in global hyperlocal to hyperscale data center solutions, and Rackbank Datacentres Private, a premium carbon-neutral data center.
Carrie’s global experience spans 40 years in the design, operations, and audit of data centers, IT departments, intelligent buildings. She has a passion and commitment for STEM education through outreach projects which led Carrie to launch a podcast series titled, Careers for Women, Trades and Veterans in Tech. The podcast broadcasts the need to address diversity and inclusion in STEM, and the opportunities for women, trades and veterans in this industry coupled with resources to help along the way. Each episode Carrie is joined by industry luminaries to address a variety of careers in the industry and spreads awareness to those who don’t have access to certain resources and education.
Additionally, Carrie collaborates with several industry organizations that offer support and scholarships, also aimed at inspiring and educating younger generations and those who don’t have access to the resources they need.
