The Company Continues to Grow with 21 Miles of New Fiber, Meeting Community Demand for High-Speed Internet and Supporting Local Business Growth

COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – April 30, 2020 – Bluebird Network LLC, a Midwest telecommunications company, is excited to announce that it has completed its 21-mile fiber infrastructure expansion in Joplin, Missouri. Building on Bluebird’s trajectory of continued growth and underscoring its core commitment to rural communities, this Missouri expansion delivers fast, high-quality fiber-based internet and transport service options for local governments, health facilities, schools, wireless towers and businesses. Bluebird’s fiber network connects businesses in Joplin to their other locations, the internet at large and to the Bluebird Underground Data Center – an underground colocation facility located in Springfield, Missouri.

“Fast internet is a necessity in this digital era, and we’re excited to continue rapidly responding to demand, further enhancing our offerings and services for existing customers and expanding into new and burgeoning areas to deliver these vital capabilities,” says Michael Morey, President and CEO of Bluebird Network. “This Joplin build serves as yet another exciting achievement in service of those goals and in support of the requirements of our customers’ growth, and we look forward to helping this community thrive.”
