January 17 2018 — Aqua Comms DAC (“Aqua Comms”), the operator of Ireland’s first dedicated subsea fibre-optic network interconnecting New York, Dublin and London, announces today that its Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Bayliff, will speak at PTC’18 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Mr. Bayliff has more than 25 years of experience encompassing senior executive, operational and technical roles in the global telecommunications industry, including having served as CEO and Board Member of Huawei Marine Networks.

During the Topical Session 1: Submarine Cable panel, Mr. Bayliff will give a panel discussion, “Who and What are Influencing Change and Innovation in Global Communications,” which will explore how subsea networks are accelerating innovation in optical techniques, helping to move tests of advanced transmission technologies to real-world applications that connect cities all over the world.
