OIX, a non-profit organization seeking to advance the understanding of Internet interconnection, is excited to produce a landmark “State of Interconnection” report for release in the fall of 2023 and is seeking four corporate sponsors to underwrite the research and production.
The State of Interconnection report will document the current state of interconnection and its capacity to support present and future digital service demands. The report’s focus will be:
- Demand drivers for cost-effective, reliable, resilient, and democratized interconnection
- Current solutions and industry structure, and how they impact demand
- The interconnection ecosystem and its role in advancing interconnection for current and future digital service demands; and
