A Note from the Founder

Welcome to our June issue of Ireland’s Hosting Bulletin. We’ve been busy; we have hit nine cities and five countries in 23 days and Host in Ireland will be on the road again this June. If you are attending the National Construction Summit in Dublin on June 16 do not miss our presentation Hosting in Ireland, an Evolution – Not a Revolution at 13:15.

As a partner of Host in Ireland, we are proud to congratulate Viatel on winning Company of the Year at the Tech Excellence Awards. We would also like to congratulate all of the shortlisted candidates on their nominations. It is an honor to have leaders in the tech industry make up the Host in Ireland community.

As always, we welcome any suggestions and feedback you may have on improving this publication to make your reading more enjoyable. Please send your comments via email to marketing@hostinireland.com.

The success of Host in Ireland depends largely on you, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support and valued contributions.

Thank you for having us!

7x24The 7x24 Exchange Atlanta Chapter had the pleasure of having Garry Connolly as our Keynote Speaker at our annual trade show and conference. Garry is a very engaging speaker and presents a well-thought-through and well-structured presentation. As the presentation progressed, the table was perfectly set to allow the audience to understand the demand, the supply, the abilities and the opportunity. The presentation blossomed into a substantive argument and realization that there is secure and reliable hosting available in areas other than the ‘usual mainstream’ locations. Most presentations that last an hour lose the audience in the 20 to 30-minute range. This presentation maintained all of our attentions throughout and we all walked away with a clear understanding of the opportunities available. If you were to host this presentation at your event, you would not be disappointed.- Scott Cockerham, CEO, Critical Components, Inc. / Executive Board Member, 7x24 Exchange Atlanta Chapter
