Bluebird Network announced the expansion of our Bluebird Underground Data Center which includes critical power upgrades to meet increased demand and enhance reliability of our services.
- Located 85’ underground in Springfield, Missouri
- Expansion represents an additional 4,700 square-feet of white space and includes a third 2MW generator, another Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system and a 10,000 gallon auxiliary fuel storage tank.
- All elements of expansion will be located underground leveraging the full protection provided by the data center’s natural surroundings, ensuring the best shield from both natural and unnatural disasters.
- This expansion is the second of three planned.
