| DE-CIX hosted our annual North America Holiday Party on December 6 at the Gansevoort Hotel in midtown Manhattan. The event drew an impressive crowd, including industry leaders from the IP peering, network provider, data center, ISP communities and beyond! Delicious food and drinks were abundant and DE-CIX company updates and words of gratitude were expressed by both Ed d'Agostino, DE-CIX VP, North America, and Ivo Ivanov, DE-CIX Executive Board Member and Head of Strategic Development. 1. What were the circumstances surrounding the collaboration between Sabey Data Centers and DE-CIX?
It was August of 2014 when Frank Orlowski, the former Chief Marketing Officer at DE-CIX, had the idea to expand their services into our 375 Pearl Street facility. At the time, the 1.1 million-square-foot data center was virtually empty.
