Strategic Account Manager



Position Title: Strategic Account Manager

Position Summary:

The Strategic Account Manager focuses on the management of key accounts within the organization and builds strong partnerships with iMPR clients throughout the tenure of the engagement. This individual manages, executes and delegates all aspects of assigned accounts as necessary, including the development and execution of marketing campaigns, research functions, reporting, status report dissemination and leading weekly or bi-weekly status calls, customer and industry events, and all other day-to-day account management functions related to the account. The Strategic Account Manager works closely with the Vice President of Strategic Development to research, recommend and communicate various strategic account management initiatives for the client. The Strategic Account Manager also delegates specific account tasks to the Marketing Assistant who serves as a supporter on their accounts.



Essential Duties & Job Functions:



  • Serve as the central Point of contact (POC) for all client inquiries and demands; respond to client inquiries quickly (all client emails must be responded to / acknowledged within 24 hours)
  • Execute upon various client projects, focusing on client deliverables and maintaining / adhering to strict timelines and due dates on all requests and deliverables
  • Focus on strategic oversight of account, working closely with the Vice President of Strategic Development to recommend strategic marketing / PR initiatives
  • Delegate projects and requests to Marketing Assistant(s) or appropriate iMPR teams as they are received
  • Ensure critical messaging has been included in all communication and expectations have been met on all writing requests
  • Edit / fact-check final status report before sending to client at least 12 hours before weekly / bi-weekly status calls
  • Schedule, reschedule (as needed) and lead weekly / bi-weekly status calls
  • Develop strong working relationships with other iMPR teams
  • Communicate tasks and their status to the iMPR team as needed
  • Review, evaluate and recommend new tools, procedures or process as available
  • Suggest change initiatives which will produce significant improvement in team deliverables and processes
  • Fact-check and validate statements / sources
  • Complete / delegate quarterly or annual marketing reports (as needed)
  • Edit / fact-check documents prior to sending to client for review (even if they were edited and approved by the Content team)
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and manager
  • Build and maintain confidence, credibility and sense of PR and marketing expertise with all clients and employees
  • Ability to adhere to the Core Values and Mission Statement of the Company

This position will work with the iMPR social media team to monitor clients social presence and to create compelling and dynamic content using key social media sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Google+.


Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Draft content for external communications, blogs and social networking platforms
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to promote the goals, messages, image and awareness
  • Execute new tactics to grow clients’ followers, increasing engagement and driving traffic to client websites
  • Write and gather content for social media communication
  • Monitor social media trends and identify key industry influencers
  • Use creative means to plan, organize, and implement a range of social media programs and/or events
  • Contribute to and regularly update external social sites: such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+
  • Develop content calendar for clients and partners
  • Respond to client and iMPR stakeholders’ inquiries and comments in real time as necessary
  • Listen to and monitor all social media outlets: pages, sites, blogs

Position Summary:

iMiller The Marketing Associate supports the Strategic Account Manager on specific customers accounts. This individual provides support in all areas of the account including the development of marketing campaigns, various research functions, reporting, call notes and status report updates, customer and industry events, and all other day-to-day support functions related to the account as delegated by the Strategic Account Manager.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Execute work, focusing on client deliverables
  • Maintain / adhere to strict timelines and due dates on all requests as determined by the Strategic Account Manager
  • Follow-up on all items pending on account, updating and reminding Strategic Account Manager daily on status of deliverables
  • Take notes from all weekly or bi-weekly calls and distribute to all appropriate individuals
  • Perform research (event, speakers, awards, etc.) as required by Strategic Account Manager
  • Develop strong working relationships with other iMPR team members
  • Communicate daily to the iMPR team regarding progress on tasks and status of deliverables as needed

Field Marketing Event Manager

Job Description:

iMiller Public Relations (iMPR ) is seeking an experienced, highly-organized, detail-oriented Field Marketing Event Manager with strong project management skills and event management experience. The Field Marketing Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and promoting events for iMPR, iMPR clients with a particular emphasis on supporting the Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association (NEDAS) Regional Chapter Events across the U.S. and Canada.  Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Research venues, vendors
  • Create and manage detailed event execution timelines with key initiatives accounted for
  • Research target sponsors, customers, prospects, end-users associated with each event
  • Draft and gain approval of a detailed event marketing/communications plan and work with iMPR’s Digital Marketing, Content and Social Media teams overseeing the execution and delivery of the plan
  • Provide direct support to ensuring the event marketing/communications plan is being delivered to key channels
  • Develop a detailed logistics plan in advance, review with team members and identify plan A, plan B and Plan C assurances to ensure a smooth event executions
  • Vendor management including management of venues selected including requesting, reviewing contracts and preparing for presentation to the company’s CEO for execution
  • Track sponsorship fulfillment for each event and support, as necessary, key communications to ensure sponsors receive what they expect
  • Registration management and promotion
  • Prepare materials for the program and communications for speakers – direct communications with speakers may be required

Duties & Job Functions (In addition to the above mentioned duties):

  • Collaborate with iMPR’s CEO, Event Team to ensure complete understanding of project requirements, budget expectations, resource requests and deliverables
  • Research, negotiate and secure venues for specific events assigned including supporting hotels, event vendors and other resources for the event project
  • Develop and maintain overall project plan and manage deliverables in a timely and effective manner with a keen attention to detail
  • Communicate with clients on an ongoing basis regarding project status
  • Create, update and manage specific event budgets
  • Develop a marketing and communications plan to promote specific events while working with the Digital Marketing, Content and Social Media teams to execute plan
  • Work with Event Producer to develop sponsorship packages, prepare materials to ensure the Event Produce is able to sell and secure sponsor spots
  • Research companies and attendees to promote the targeted demographic in order to reach maximum success at each event
  • Work with Content team to create effective messaging for website, invitations, press releases, prospectus materials, brochures and other communications to promote events and the events team programs
  • Keep track of all event projects and deliverables for assigned events on personal master project tracker; provide weekly/bi-weekly updates of project status
  • Ensure materials are drafted for external communications with sponsors, speakers, attendees, etc. for the specific events you are assigned to and ensure the messages are being delivered in a timely and effective manner
  • Work with the CEO and Finance department to prepare approvals in order to execute payments and finalize budgets
  • Work with Regional Chapter Heads to execute all event deliverables before, during and after events
  • Execute event plan including on-site support (travel required)
  • Effectively provide event wrap-up; review, analyze and provide report of each event for internal review in a timely manner and ensure it is client ready upon approval

    Execute regular email marketing campaigns on behalf of clients, adhering to email marketing best practices
    Ensure all email marketing campaigns follow quality assurance processes to guarantee accurate and on-time campaign delivery
    Deliver reports and insights that accurately measure the performance of each email campaign
    Work with the team to execute client newsletters including compilation and delivery
    Per direction from supervisor, manage websites for iMPR and assigned clients, including but not limited to, website content updates, blog postings, press releases, news, etc.
    Perform data research

Requirements:
