Jen HandshewJennifer Handshew brings nearly two decades of providing strategic media and analyst counsel to a broad range of technology clients focusing on telecommunications, networking, data centers and financial services technology. Ms. Handshew will develop and lead media and influencer strategies for iMPR clients; oversee the development and management of integrated communications programs to help increase brand relevance and awareness; and create critical dialogues between clients, journalists and analysts utilizing digital strategies and social media.  Additionally, Ms. Handshew will work to drive new and organic business growth for the firm.

Ms. Handshew’s strategic approach to media and analyst relations has enabled clients to shine in their vertical categories as well as significantly increase their brand awareness via national, international and broadcast coverage.  Her experience with top-tier media includes working with: Associated Press, Canada’s Business News Network (BNN), Dow Jones Newswires, Forbes, FOX Business News, Investor’s Business Daily, Marketplace Radio, Newsweek Japan, Nikkei newswire, Wall Street Journal and Reuters.  Additionally, her technology background has enabled her to establish relationships with leading analyst firms including: 451 Research, Aberdeen Group, A-Team Group, Nemertes Research, Ovum and TABB Group — helping clients better navigate the world in which they live and connect with the customers they serve.

Ms. Handshew joins iMPR from CFN Services, a leading provider of managed IT services for the financial markets.  As former Director of Marketing Communications for CFN, she oversaw all PR and marketing efforts, driving corporate visibility via strategic media and analyst campaigns and spearheading a successful digital effort that positioned the company as a trusted media source for financial services technology.  Prior to CFN, Ms. Handshew was the Director of Media Relations/Communications at STC Associates, a global branding firm, where she oversaw the marketing and PR activities for Hudson Fiber Network, successfully re-branding the company from a telco organization to a leading provider of network solutions for the financial services arena.  Ms. Handshew also oversaw the communications strategy for Switch and Data’s noteworthy launch into the financial services vertical, strategically positioning the company for its eventual acquisition by Equinix.

Ms. Handshew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UC Santa Barbara.
